Bad Bank Robbers
I just heard that the Well's Fargo in West Seattle got robbed today on the Komonews.com website:

That is in my neighborhood and a pretty bad spot to try to rob considering you have to go across the West Seattle bridge to escape or drive down through White Center to get over to Georgetown both of which you are basically passing by the West Seattle Police Precinct at 2300 Webster SW. I bet they drove right down Admiral Way which is heading right towards the station. I commute in around 9-10am every morning in that same route and there is a few traffic lights that they could have easily blew off but the traffic on the bridge is still medium heavy and pretty busy coming off the 99S exit or 1st Avenue exit. Either way these dudes were destined to get caught. Rookie Move! Here is a little transcript from the King 5 Website:
SEATTLE - "Seattle Police opened fire on a suspect in Downtown Seattle this morning who they say robbed a West Seattle bank wearing black shoe polish on his face and a wig.
Police say the robbery happened around 10:10 a.m. at a Wells Fargo Bank in the 2300 block of California Avenue in West Seattle.
The FBI says one man wearing a wig, black shoe polish and sunglasses and carrying a gun ordered everyone around and jumped the counter. He took off with a large sum of money. No shots were fired at the bank.
Initial reports say the man was wearing a dress, but the FBI now says that's not the case."
That sounds like someone that watched a little too much bad TV with the black shoe polish. Wow.
